Get ready for another year of great movies on Film 4!
Film Four is pleased to grant viewers a sneak preview of some of the great new movie seasons scheduled over the next year. It’s going to be the best year for Film Four yet!
First up, in January, we’ve got the Cool Crime season, with some of the most chilled out celluloid crime capers ever, including the Usual Suspects, Fargo, Reservoir Dogs, Taxi Driver (driving a taxi unlicensed is a crime) and Trainspotting (so is taking drugs).
In February, we look at Maverick Directors, with a great season including Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs, the Coen brothers’ Fargo and Martin Scorcece’s Taxi Driver.
In March, sit back, tune in and drop out with our Screen Highs season, looking at drugs on the big screen, including cult hit Trainspotting, Usual Suspects (there are drug smugglers in it) and Fargo (there are some mild drug references in it. Aren’t there? I’m sure there are).
In April, it’s time to look at some Modern Classics, with the very best of Film Four’s movies, including Reservoir Dogs, Usual Suspects and indeed Fargo.
In May, we look at the Big Scream, with some classic modern horrors, including Taxi Driver, Fargo and Reservoir Dogs.
In June, the temperature will be rising – and that’s just on Film Four! Time to get steamy with some sexy cinema, including Fargo, Taxi Driver and Last Tango in Paris. And Trainspotting.
In July, our Teenage Kicks season has the youngest, freshest movies, from American Pie to Fargo (the characters were once teenagers) and Trainspotting (taking drugs is the sort of thing teenagers do).
From August to December, we will be showing Taxi Driver, Usual Suspects, Reservoir Dogs, Trainspotting and Fargo on a constant loop.
