A new movie goes back to the roots of Gordon the Gopher, in a dark new $150million "re-imagining" of the seminal character's story - Gordon Begins.
Director Christopher Nolan said "We wanted to move Gordon away from all the childish horspelay he became associated with through the broom cupboard, and strip him back to what he is - a furry little fella with a lot of pain in his heart. A lot of the old fans will be shocked by how dark this new version is".
Christrian Bale is already signed on to play Gordon, with Dustin Hoffman rumoured to be favourite for the vital Philip Schofield role.
