By anti-ecstasy campaigner Paul Betts
Some expected me, as arguably Britain's most famous campaigner against the dangers of ecstasy, to be outraged as this latest government report that equates the level of risk from taking a pill with that of riding a horse. Apparently, it says that "drug harm can be equal to harms in other parts of life. There is not much difference between horse-riding and ecstasy."

Well, all I can say is - if that's the case, let's ban horses immediately. And warn youngsters to stay well clear. There's a danger at the barn door, and we need to close it before the horse bolts - right into our kids' heads. I'll do whatever it takes to stop a kid mounting a horse if I see one - I'll even blow the kid off if I can. Off the horse. With a big gust of wind.
