Dance sensation Michael Flatley, who didn't die from that weird disease after all, is going on a once in a lifetime televised dance odyssey right around the world, exclusively for ITV1, and thus everyone.
Flatley will be fulfilling a lifelong ambition to literally dance all along the banks of the world's major rivers, in a variety of dance styles that, where possible, will reflect the river they are danced upon.
So viewers will be thrilled as Flatley tangoes along Argentina's Parana river, foxtrots along the Mississippi and naturally, dances an Irish jig for the entire length of Ireland's River Shannon, among many others. Dance there, wherever he may be, Michael is the lord of the riverside dance say we!
The many miles of river that Flatley will have to cover while constantly dancing, combined with the fact he is now 51, means there will also be plenty of time for Michael to reflect on his life and a range of other issues (some suggested by viewers), in an emotional three hour odyssey that is sure to dance all the way into viewers hearts.
