Wild Mancunian Oasis front man and all round top geezer Liam Gallagher has revealed how he and the lads like to relax on the bus on their latest sell out tour. Where back in the days the gobby icon would have DOWNED Stellas, SNORTED charlie and PUFFED ON fags, they now enjoy a simpler, more mature sensation to help them wind down - watching hit 90s BBC show, Lovejoy.
The popular drama ran for 6 series between 1986 and 94, scoring millions of viewers, who thrilled to Ian McShane's performance as Lovejoy, a roguish antiques dealer with a reputation in the trade as a 'divvie', meaning one with an almost supernatural talent for recognising exceptional items as well as for distinguishing fakes or forgeries from genuine antiques.
"I fookin' love that Lovejoy, man", Liam drawled at me, "he's a proper top geezer like Lennon or Hendrix.
That Tinker was gay, though", the legend added.
