It has been announced that for two weeks, Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will step in for hosting duties on Deal or No Deal, while Noel Edmonds undergoes vital rectal surgery.
TV bosses are expecting the rabid anti-semite despot to be a big hit, with a very similar appeal to Noel's - twinkling eyes, a bushy beard and a lightness of touch that makes everyone feel at ease.
However, some concerns have been raised about Ahmadinejad's ability to deal with the banker's bullish banter without becoming enraged.
"He had better not be Jewish, like all bankers are", he ominously warned.
