Sky have been inspired by the success of their 'in no way will this have been worthwhile' promotional blitz for new gangster drama The Take, which has included everything from billboard ads to cinema trailers to fake adverts throughout the press to even splashing out for a four page wraparound fake cover on today's Metro. Now the broadcaster is planning to shoot a rocket into space, to promote another of its shows.

The rocket will feature the words 'Britain's Hardest' down one side, promoting a repeat run of the 2004 reality show, hosted by Steve McFadden ("surprisingly dull endurance based elimination game set in an old warehouse. Men who think they're hard run through doors, hold up cars and hold their breath underwater whilst proper London gangster-types shout at them" - UK Gameshows.com) on Sky Three.

"We're sure it will really boost awareness", a Sky spokesman said.
