A Daily Mail investigation
Farrah Fawcett...Michael Jackson...Mollie Sugden...Karl Malden...some weird guy from American advertising TV...what have they all got in common? One thing, they were all killed by Twitter.
This frightening website, which started in America, allows caffeine fuelled youngsters and cocaine addled celebrities to 'tweet' about the sordid details of their sickening lives, with many also mentioning celebrities in passing, causing so-called 'Trending Topics'. Before they know it, these same celebs are found dead, killed by the sheer weight of comments made about them by total strangers.
Some of Britain's biggest celebrities even get involved, with men like Stephen Fry, Jonathan Ross and Jimmy Carr all at least partly to blame for sickening internet rumours that actor Jeff Goldblum was dead.
No one knows when this alarming website will finally be closed down, but one thing seems sure - it won't be Gordon Brown's corrupt government that does it.
