Since former football star O.J Simpson was convicted of harassment and kidnapping last week, orange juice manufacturers have reported a shocking 2.5% decline in the sales of their juices.
A similar drop in sales of alphabet fridge magnets for the letters ‘O’ and ‘J’ has also been recorded by business analysts.
Meanwhile TV industry eggheads have noticed a minor blip in global viewer ratings for animated sitcom The Simpsons, and ASDA describe disposable barbecue sales as "sluggish".
But malted comfort drink Horlicks say that sales have leapt up by an amazing 1%, possibly due to people's need for childhood comfort foods to deal with the harsh reality that OJ really isn't very nice.
