Buoyed up by its amazing sporting summer, Spain is aiming to add another major victory to its list of scalps.
Already this year, Rafael Nadal has spectacularly won Wimbledon by finally toppling arch-nemesis Roger Federer in a thrilling final, while their national football team, eternal under achievers historically won the Euro 2008 championship in style.
And they probably won a couple of bronzes at the Beijing Olympics too (anyone?)
Now the rejuvenated country is making its most audacious sporting bid yet - trying to topple Belgium's near-mythical status as champion paedophiles, a title they have held since records began.
